What a horrible mattress and company. Purchased a split king hybrid 4 and it’s the worst purchase we have ever made. Wish I could take it back and keep my 13k this is literally the worst mattress, and company I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. Mattress is horrible, worst mattress ever, mattress gives my husband and myself horrible back and neck pains. Ohhh so so bad, words can’t express how horrible this mattress is. Don’t walk away from a purple mattress, RUN!!

Feels amazing at first. Even your 100 day return period will probably be fantastic. However, the support wears out very quickly.

This review is based off of a single user with a queen sized mattress.

Within the first year the sagging will be noticeable. This does not mean that the bed is simply lower in some areas; the support will wear out completely. It is like laying on a thick blanket instead of a mattress.

Even with rotating the mattress and switching the side of the bed you sleep on, the bed will “crater.” By the two year mark, the only support left will be around the edges of the bed. This “crater” effect will leave you with three options:

(1) Sleep toward either edge of the bed. This will be more supportive than sleeping in the center, but because of the crater leaving the very edges still firm, your body will be angled towards the center of the bed.

(2) Sleep in the center of the bed. This will allow you to sleep flat. However it is the most worn out area of the bed and will only continue to deteriorate.

(3) Sleep on the edges of the crater. The support here honestly feels like the bed is new. However, to sleep like this would require you to literally have your outside arm hang off the mattress. This is highly uncomfortable and risks you rolling off the bed completely.

Giving two stars because everyone's different and it may be different for them but I've owned this mattress for more than 3 years now I wake up in the morning and barely can get out of bed because my back hurts so bad I have to use a heating pad on my back to be able to move that is ridiculous especially for the price of this mattress respect a little more quality out of it at first it was great it was comfortable and it didn't heat up like other mattresses which was very nice. But it must be breaking down or something because my back hurts so bad nowadays and I can sleep in the recliner with no problems so the longevity of this mattress is a lie I wouldn't recommend this for anyone because it seems like most people have known that had the purple are having about the same problems with me so it's a company lying to get money typical of any company but I report and review them all

Not even think to buy any Purple mattress. I bought 3 of them and they last 2 months then become impossible to sleep. They claim that mattress are donated but actually they trash the mattress. I also tried the Pillows and had to go to the hospital for that white powder. Look on Youtube for Purple Lawsuit.

I purchased the basic purple mattress. It is the finest, most comfortable mattress of my lifetime. I had a Sealy hotel quality high-end mattress and woke up hurting everyday. The purple mattress, even the basic model, is the finest, most comfortable ever. I never, ever wake up sore or hurting.

Then I looked at their pillows. The salesman actually gave me good reason to try the highest end pillow. This was the most expensive pillow of my lifetime. They have an extended return policy but there's no way this is leaving my house. I love it. And the salesman was superb. I've been a professional buyer for decades and he did not push or pressure, he answered my questions with respect and I chose this expensive pillow. Even though I took a deep breath with the price, it enhanced sleeping process substantially and it is worth it. Goodbye to the lumpy My Pillow rejects.

The sales process, the delivery door to door, the unrolling of the mattress with no off gases, and the sleep that resulted from all this. . . I have told everybody I know how much I absolutely love this company.

I ordered 4 items for Christmas gifts. I got 3 items. I called and asked 1 missing item to be shipped out in the faster way. Rejected! I asked that I WILL PAY for faster shipping to get it before Christmas. Rejected!!
The delivery system isn't organized. I do online-order many things but their service is not good at all.

The worst experience. The package failed to be delivered twice. It finally arrived a week late. I took the day off three times to receive the package as it was valued at four thousand dollars. The carrier dumped it outside of my building in the open. The item was supposed to be signed for and the carrier didn't bother. Purple claimed no responsibility for the failure to deliver the item and would only agree to a replacement if it was stolen in the event the carrier agreed it had been.

Customer service couldn't dodge responsibility enough and told me to be happy I had such a great product and left a hundred and ten pound girl to drag a king size mattress up three flights of stairs by herself because they couldn't be bothered to hold their carrier to the contract.

Don't buy from them. Ever.

I ordered a purple med firm Cal king mattress. Scheduled deliver was for a Tuesday. Everything arrived but the mattress we ordered. Called the retailer to resolved the issue. Person had to check with warehouse and Purple. Bottom line Purple is backed up and the Cal king is not a priority. They are only on standard size mattresses. Purple needs inform retailers so consumers know not to make these order. Bad business and a good way to loose customers.

I bought a Queen size mattress for myself from Purple. I can't stress to tell you how great of a mattress they sell. After I come home from work my body soaks right into this mattress. It stay's cool, it maintains it's shape and most importantly your back feels like it has the support it needs. Now I will move onto the PILLOW. It's heavy, it is good but it could use little bit of more neck support. I know you can fold it up and all that but it needs more neck support. For example one of those pillows you put your head into and all the spots left between your neck and head are filled in. That's something I would like to see in this pillow as a improvement but other then that, everything from here has been great even the sleep maps. I got that too forgot to mention earlier. I do recommend Purple if you want to trey something completely new.
